Announcing the Fort Atkinson Candlelight Tour 2021
Saturday, November 6th
Tours start at 6 p.m. and every 20 minutes thereafter, lasting about an hour.
Reservations must be made by calling Kristy at 402-445-0706.
Because space is limited, you must make your reservation by calling Kristy. Then purchase your ticket, which you can do via standard mail or online at fortatkinsononline.org. Your non-refundable payment must be received within 7 days of confirming your reservation to guarantee your tour.
Join us for a unique evening in which you will be taken on a guided tour of the fort by candlelight. Each stop along the way will reveal another part of the evening's plot, which is based on actual events.
Ticket Prices
- $20 (adult)
- $15 (seniors 55+)
- $15 (children 12 and under)
This includes a complimentary pass to the Harold Anderson Visitors' Center. However, a valid Nebraska State Park entry permit will be required and available at the Visitor Center for $5. All proceeds will help support the living history program at Fort Atkinson State Historical Park.
Note that this is a walking tour and will take approximately one hour. Please wear walking shoes and warm clothing. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the tour. No pets please.
