Military Timeline

A variety of on-going military re-enactor groups from the Revolutionary War to the present. View military the various displays and interpreters portraying 1820's military and civilian life at Ft. Atkinson. A variety of military vehicles will be on grounds

On-going Various Ron Westlake carpentry/log hewing (Southeast barrack) On-going demonstrations outside of the Fort walls (blacksmith, sutler, garden, various military encampments, etc.)
11:00 AM Flag Pole Nolan—Archeology Walk
12:00 PM Assembly, Noon Gun
12:05 PM Dinner Call (Peas upon a Trencher)
12:30 PM Cabin Mountain Man interactive activity
1:00 PM Visitor Center Speaker Jeff Barnes "Forts of the Missouri River Valley" (Humanities Nebraska)
2:00 PM Powder Magazine Cannon drill and firing
3:00 PM Officer's Mess, SW Barrack Talk on the 1825 Expedition
4:00 PM The Retreat (Roll call, Inspection, Evening gun)
